บทคัดย่อ	“กัญชง” พืชเศรษฐกิจแนวใหม่บนพื้นที่สูง นิยมปลูกมากในทางภาคเหนือของประเทศไทย เป็นพืชที่มีเส้นใยคุณภาพสูง ซึ่งเมื่อนำมาใช้ทอผ้าจะมีความแข็งแรงกว่าผ้าที่ทอจากฝ้าย อีกทั้งยังให้ความอบอุ่นและกันความชื้นได้ดีกว่าผ้าลินินหรือเส้นใย สังเคราะห์อื่นๆ ผ้าที่ทอจากเส้นใยกัญชงจะมีราคาสูงและเป็นที่ต้องการของตลาด มักจะถูกนำมาทำเป็น เสื้อผ้า เครื่องนุ่งห่ม กระเป๋า รองเท้า เป็นต้น จากคุณสมบัติเบื้องต้นของใยกัญชงที่นำมาทอเป็นผ้าแล้วจะมีความเหนียว และความแข็งแรงที่มาก ระบายอากาศจากความร้อนได้ดี จึงเกิดเป็นแนวคิดในการนำมาพัฒนาเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่จากภูมิปัญญาการทอผ้าใยกัญชงในชุมชน ของทางภาคเหนือเพื่อผลิตเป็นเฟอร์นิเจอร์เก้าอี้แขวน (Swing Chair) โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1.เพื่อนำใยกัญชงมาเป็นส่วนหนึ่ง ในการสร้างเสน่ห์และสร้างมูลค่าให้กับเฟอร์นิเจอร์ในรูปแบบ Brand Nawa 2. เพื่อศึกษาและออกแบบเฟอร์นิเจอร์ให้มีความเป็น เอกลักษณ์ ภายใต้Brand Nawa ขั้นตอนในการพัฒนาใยกัญชงเป็นการพัฒนาที่ต้องอาศัยวิธีการออกแบบและผลิตร่วมกับกลุ่ม แม่บ้านผู้ผลิตผ้าทอใยกัญชงในชุมชนดอยมังของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ และช่างฝีมืองาน Crafts ในเรื่องของโครงสร้างหลัก พัฒนาให้เกิด ผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ซึ่งเป็นการเพิ่มมูลค่าให้กับผลิตภัณฑ์และเป็นการสร้างนวัตกรรมเข้าไปใช้กับตัวผลิตภัณฑ์ให้สอดคล้องกับความ ต้องการของกลุ่มเป้าหมายและพื้นที่ที่นำไปใช้งาน โดยการนำองค์ความรู้จากกลุ่มแม่บ้านผู้ผลิตผ้าทอใยกัญชงร่วมกับกลุ่มผู้ผลิต งาน Crafts โดยเริ่มจากส่วนในเรื่องของโครงสร้างหลักที่ทำจากเหล็กทั้งหมดซึ่งต้องอาศัยเทคนิควิธีการทำและฝีมือของช่างในการ ทำอย่างมากและในส่วนที่ต้องตกแต่งที่ทำจากผ้าทอใยกัญชงผลการวิจัยพบว่า สมบัติทางกายภาพและกระบวนการทำผ้าหอมีความเหมาะสมที่จะนำมาพัฒนาเป็นเฟอร์นิเจอร์ได้ ซึ่งคุณสมบัติทางกายภาพของใยกัญชงมีคุณสมบัติที่แข็งแรงอย่างมาก เมื่อนำมาทำเป็นในส่วนที่ต้องรองรับแรงกดและน้ำหนักร่วมยึดติดกับโครงสร้างหลักก็สามารถตอบสนองต่อจุดนี้ได้เป็นอย่างดี โยกัญชงสามารถพัฒนาต่อมาผลิตเป็นเฟอร์นิเจอร์เก้าอี้แขวน (Swing Chair) ได้เป็นอย่างดีมีการใช้งานได้ในระดับเดียวกับ มาตรฐานของเก้าอี้แขวน(Swing Chair) ที่วัสดุผ้าอื่นมาทำขายในท้องตลาดทั่วไป ผลการศึกษากระบวนการสร้างส่วนประกอบของ เก้าอี้แขวน (Swing Chair) นี้สามารถการดึงเอาคุณสมบัติของไยกัญชง ได้แก่ การนำผ้าทอมาทำเป็นเบาะนั่ง การถักเป็นพนักพิง และส่วนประกอบอื่นๆ เช่น หมอน ความแข็งแรงที่เกิดจากการนำผ้าทอใยกัญชงมาใช้นี้ทำให้เกิดผลิตภัณฑ์รูปแบบใหม่ใน ท้องตลาดมากขึ้นและพบว่าจากกระบวนการผลิต เก้าอี้แขวน (Swing Chair) นี้สามารถทำได้ ภายในระยะเวลาเพียง 1-2 อาทิตย์ เนื่องจากกระบวนการ การนำ ผ้าทอใยกัญชงมาหุ้มทำเป็นเบาะนั้น สามารถนำมาทำได้เลยเนื่องจากใช้ผ้าทอที่กลุ่มชาวบ้านผลิตไว้ ทำผลิตภัณฑ์อื่นๆอยู่แล้ว และจากการสืบค้นพบว่ายังไม่เคยมีการทดลองในการใช้ใยกัญชงมาทำเป็นเก้าอี้แขวน (Swing Chair) มาก่อน จึงเป็น ผลงานในการใช้ใยกัญชง ในการผลิตเป็นเก้าอี้แขวน (Swing Chair) ชิ้นแรก จึงมีคุณภาพที่สามารถเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ทางเลือกให้กับ ผู้บริโภคได้มากขึ้น รวมทั้งเป็นการเพิ่มมูลค่าของผลิตภัณฑ์นำไปสู่การต่อยอดพัฒนาเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์อื่นๆได้ในอนาคต
